My name is Carlos. I am a Data scientist skilled in technologies such as Pandas, Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning models with Python, Power BI dashboards, and datasets development, also I am experienced with SQL.

I am interested in continuing my professional path in data science teams to solve problems related to Machine Learning and data, always with a human sense of responsibility.

Billpocket, Data Scientist.

Dic 2021 - present (+2 years)

Created, administered, and maintained all Power BI platform for the whole company.
Constructed Power BI datasets from DirectQuery (M) using SQL to set automatic updates.
Build the fraud detection Machine Learning Model for all the transactions processed by Billpocket using python and scikit-learn, git and docker.
Created a supervised learning model for the classification of those users that most probably will churn so the commercial team and communication can focus efforts on them.
Extracted information from many sources (Athena, MySQL, Mongo, etc) for business requirements through Jira platform.

Created up to 8 interactive dashboards for replacing old weekly and monthly reports using Power BI saving approx 3-4 hours of work per week and replacing manual excel reports.
Built Exploratory Data Analysis applications for solving business problems.
Helped the commercial team to take data-driven decisions by using automatic reports as a tool to guide their strategy instead of a manual & repetitive task.
